Top Players from the Tour de las

Americas to Participate in June

Tournaments

CARROLLTON, Texas- The Adams Golf Pro Tour Series (AGPTS) has extended an invitation to the top five members of the Tour de las Americas (TLA) to play in our three June events.

TLA is a professional golf tour that operates tournaments in Latin America and the Caribbean, and is a member of the International Federation of PGA Tours.

"In a continuing effort to expand the global reach of the Adams Golf Pro Tour, we are glad to offer the top players of the Tour de las Americas exemptions to some of our premier events in 2010," said Gary DeSerrano, President of the AGPTS. "Our goal has always been to provide our top events with the best international competition available. Having the top players from South America will do just that."

The three events in which these players will be able to participate in are the Mary Bird Perkins Merrill Lynch Open, the Capital One Classic, and the Beaumont Open.

“I would like to thank Gary DeSerrano and the Adams Golf Pro Tour for inviting our top players for these exciting series of events,” commented Henrique Lavie, Commissioner of the Tour de las Americas. “It is important to continually strive for new opportunities that allow our up-and-coming players to expand their horizons and develop.”
