Payne Stewart Award

Each year, the Payne Stewart Award is given to a tour member that helps promote the traditions and integrity of the game of golf. That tour player for 2010 is Bill Allcorn.

He represented a true professional throughout the year; both in his appearance and in the way he played the game. He always showed respect and gratitude towards tournament volunteers, course and tour staff. He also showed a willingness to help with weekly activities associated with our local charity groups.

Not only did he deserve this award in 2010, but his tournament play stood out in the process. Bill played in 14 events; which included a first place finish at the El Paso Desert Open. He had ten made cuts in total, and finished the year ranked 5th on the Tour Money List.

2010 Earnings = $36,685.41
