Coca-Cola Walmart
Open Field Expected
to
Fill Early
The
season opens with one of our best events, the
Coca-Cola
Walmart Open, held in Alexandria Louisiana at Oakwing Golf Club.
The tournament dates are March 17-20 and the purse will be $125,000 with the winner taking home
$18,000.
The
tournament field is limited to the first 132 players to register
(members have priority till March 3rd) and tour officials expect
the field to be full prior to this date.
"We
scheduled this event the week before the first Nationwide Tour
event in the states so our members would have a great tournament
to tune up on before the Monday qualifying", said Tyler Wolford
- Tour Director. "However, we ar getting a lot of interest
from Nationwide Tour players wanting to do this same. We
expect this event to fill faster than normal.
