$5,000 guaranteed first at 36 hole events. At 54 hole
events, all players making
the cut and completing the final round will receive a
check. $6,000 guaranteed first at 54 hole events. Minimum check will be $100.

player’s address (as shown on the entry form)
approximately 10 business days following the final round.
No check will be sent unless the Adams Golf Pro Tour
Series has
record of player’s Social Security Number or Tax ID
Tournament Format: Winter Series events will
consist of 36 and 54 holes of stroke play. No cuts at 36
hole events. For 54 hole events, the field will be cut to
the top 30% of the players and ties (starting field) after 36 holes. Any
participant shooting 86 or higher will automatically be
cut from the field. All events are riding. Cart fees are
included in entry fees for tournament rounds.
Tournament Fields: Full fields for Winter Series
events are 120 players. Fields will be made up of the
first paid 120 players.
Tournament Deadlines: The “deadline” to enter each
is event is the Friday before the tournament. Tee-times will be done
the Friday before the tournament with tee times starting
at 8:30am. Any entries received after the “deadline”, will
be paired groups before 8:30am.
Tournament Entry Procedure: To enter an event, all
players using checks must fill out an entry form and mail
it, along with the entry fee, to the Tour office. Any
member using credit cards to pay for entries MUST register
on-line. There will be a 3% convenience fee for all credit
card transactions. Entries will be taken on a first paid
basis. No payments will be accepted
over the phone or at tournament sites.
Waiting List Procedure: When a tournament is FULL
and a waiting list is established, members will have
priority over non-members. Again, entries are dated and
placed on the waiting list in the order in which they are
received. If a spot opens in the tournament, members will
be filled in first, then non-members, and finally
amateurs.
Payment Policy: The Adams Golf Pro Tour Series will accept
cash, money orders, and cashiers checks. Personal and
business checks will not be accepted without a valid
Drivers License and valid credit card # (must be
MasterCard, Visa or American Express with available credit
to cover the entry fee). MasterCard, Visa and American
Express will also be accepted through on-line
registration. There is an additional 3% convenience fee
for online registration. Please note that Check Cards with
daily limits less than total entry fees will not be
accepted. There will be a $30 fee for returned checks. If
a check is returned, all future payments must be made in
cash, money orders, cashiers checks, or credit card.
Practice Rounds: Official practice round days are
on the day before each tournament’s first round.
Courses may charge up to $25 for practice rounds. Pros
must call the host course to arrange practice round tee times.
Player Attire: Slacks are required during pro-ams
as well as all Tour functions such as parties, junior
clinics, shoot-outs, etc. Slacks are PREFERRED during
tournament play but shorts are allowed. Shirts are to be
tucked in trousers. Hats are to be worn forward. No jeans.
No flip-flops are allowed at host facilities.
Amateurs: The Adams Golf Winter Series
welcomes amateurs to play in its events. However,
professionals have priority in tournament entry, and
amateurs are ineligible to win any prizes. Since the Adams
Golf Pro Tour Series is a professional tour, players are assumed to
be pros unless stated otherwise on entry form.
Message Board: Tee Times and General Notices are
posted on the Tour trailer. All players are
encouraged to check this message board before the 1st round of
tournament play.
Withdrawals and No Shows: Withdrawals will be accepted for
any reason, without penalty, when notice is given by 5 PM,
the Friday before the event. Players must call the Tour
Office to withdraw. For withdrawals after the Friday
deadline, the player will waive his entry fee to the
tournament. Medical and personal withdrawals after the
Friday deadline will be evaluated on a case by case
instance, and if accepted, there will be a $100
administrative fee. The player must submit written
documentation to the Tour office within 24 hours of
withdrawal, and medical withdrawal documentation must be
on Doctor’s letterhead. No Refund or credit will be given
for any reason once a player has teed off. ‘No shows’ will
not receive a refund or credit for any reason.
Rainouts or Extreme Conditions: All decisions for tournaments affected by rain
or extreme conditions will be made on a case-by-case basis by the Tour Officials
and the host professional. Any weather shortened tournament is
official only after 18, 36 or 54 holes, with Tour
Officials making every effort to complete as many rounds
as possible. No partial rounds will count.
