Newly Announced Policies -
January 11, 2010
Tournament Format:
Winter Series events will consist of 54 holes of
stroke play. Each event field will be cut to the greater
of the
top 30% of the starting field and ties, after 36 holes. Any participant shooting
86 or higher at any event will automatically be cut from
the field. All events are riding. Cart fees are included
in entry fees for tournament rounds. Players are encouraged to have cart covers for
inclement weather days.
"Our previous policy of a 'minimum of 15
players' making the cut was negatively effecting the purse breakdowns of
the Winter Series", stated Tyler Wolford - Tour Director. "Cutting
to 30% of the starting field makes more sense by rewarding the same
percentage of the field each week."
Any questions regarding
this new policy should be directed at Tyler Wolford -
