Adams Golf Pro Tour Series
Announces Island View Casino Resort Tour Championship
The Adams Golf Pro Tour Series
today announced they have reached a multi-year agreement with the
Island View Casino Resort in Gulfport to host the Series 2008
and 2009 Tour
Championship. The host course for the event will be Windance, which is owned and operated by the Island
View Casino Resort.
The year end
event will boast a
$125,000 purse with a first place of $25,000. The
tournament will be exclusive to the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series
members. The field will be comprised of the top 100 players on
the 2008 Adams Golf Player of the Year points list, the top 10
points winners from the 2007-2008 Winter Series and 8 players that
have played in 8 or more regular series event and bring a paid

“The addition of the Island View Casino Resort Tour Championship is a
wonderful reward for the pros who played well during the season and that
supported the Series through the year", said Gary DeSerrano, President
of the AGPTS. "Each year we strive to improve both our schedule and the events we host.
The newly released schedule and this announcement certainly make the
2008 schedule a special one for our membership."

About the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series
The Adams Golf Pro Tour Series, a subsidiary of the K&G
Sports LLC., partners with local non-profits to conduct 16+ professional
golf tournaments in the mid-south region of the US. In addition to
raising thousands of dollars each year for charity, these events will
provide an avenue for professional golfers to hone their skills while
preparing for a life on the PGA Tour. The management team at K&G Sports
previously operated the Tight Lies Tour which successfully graduated
players to the PGA Tour including; Harrison Frazar, Tag Ridings, John
Senden, Deane Pappas, John Reigger, Mark Hensby, Ron Whittaker, Scott
Sterling, Rich Barcelo, 2001 Farm Bureau Classic winner Cameron Beckman,
1999 John Deer Classic winner J.L. Lewis, three-time PGA winner, Tim
Herron and 2004 Funai Classic at Walt Disney Resort winner, Ryan Palmer.

Island View Casino Resort, a privately held casino by local businessmen
Terry Green and Rick Carter, will be Gulfport’s only gaming property and
the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s largest casino upon completion. Carter and
Green owned the Copa Casino, which was located in Gulfport’s port before
being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. After the storm, the two gaming
